International achievements

In the previous years, the Croatian winners have achieved remarkable results at the international FameLab competition that is held every June in England.

Marko Kosicek won first place at the 2008 competition in Cheltenham, in the voting of both the jury and the audience. A year later, Maja Marasovic won first by audience votes and second place by jury’ votes. This year, Ivana Strazic achieved the same success with her brilliant A Slimy Love Story. Together with another finalist of this year’s competition, Ivana was a guest of The Infinite Monkey Cage at BBC Radio 4, hosted by world renowned scientist and science promoter Brian Cox.

We congratulate them all on such excellent results, hoping that Croatian scientists will continue to achieve such access in the years to come.

Let’s remind ourselves of some of their lectures:
