Natalija Dunić
My name is Natalija Dunić and I come from a lovely little place Lukoran in the island of Ugljan. I adore the sea and the nature and whenever I’m free I enjoy fresh air walks. Apart from that I play billiard, darts and minesweeper, and I like to finish every day with a SF series. Apart from Croatian and English I speak Russian.
I fell in love with science as a child and today I try to share my enthusiasm with everybody, regardless of their age.
I currently study environmental physics in Split and in the last two years I’ve been actively working on science popularisation. I’m a big activist in this field, especially within the Science festival.

Lidija Rašić
Mi name is Lidija Rašić. I was born on the seventy of April 1991 in Osijek. After primary school I went to general programme high school. At fourth grade, after a heavy cold and fever it occurred to me I should study medicine. I’m currently enrolled at the second year. Mildly hyperactive I try to pass my exams as soon as possible to have more free time. I use free time for laughing, roller skating, cycling, photography, friends, nearby café, project at my student association CroMSIC and of course telenovelas.

Slavko Radilović
My name is Slavko Radilović and I'm a first year student of environmental physics from Split. Despite that my first love has been and still is astrophysics so I’ve worked on several related projects. I’m a fan of SF especially Star Track and Red Dwarf that I’ve watched since early childhood. I am very ambitious so apart from my studies I sing, play bass guitar in a band and dance swing. In my free time I stay fit playing football, basketball and picigin at Bačvice I wish to share my love for science with everybody willing to accept it and thus enable them to embark on an adventure of life.

Tihana Jelušić
I come from Zagreb.
I’ve always liked the Star Wars and fantasising about future where science and technology successfully solve almost any problem. To make this future real as soon as possible I’ve decided to do something about it – become a scientist. But there were so many fields of science and everything was so interesting. I decided to start small which brought me to the study of molecular biology at the Faculty of Science and later to the Ruđer Bošković Institute where I’ve been working for two years. My wish is still to make future nearer, and one of the ways to do that is to make science nearer to everyone.

Iris Hrvoj
My name is Iris Hrvoj and I’m a first year student of Faculty of Food Technology in Osijek, although I come from Zagreb. In my free time I do spectrofluorimetric analysis of honey, dancing and airsoft. Although I had to choose between professional dancing and science, it is obvious what I decided. I love watching documentary crime series and I am terribly interested in criminology.

Maja Martinić
My name is Maja, I come from Zagreb and I’m a third year student of architecture. In my free time I like to create so I sew, crochet, knit, cook, draw and make models. Architecture is a marriage of science and arts, and I believe there’s a little scientist hidden in every one of us. I’ve always liked mathematics and drawing and looked for regularity in the world around me. Now I wish to show you how to match these regularities with science, art and beauty.

Jelena Luketina
My name is Jelena and I study physics. I’m interested in almost everything – from cosmology to psychology – and with special enthusiasm I follow discoveries that have potential to significantly improve the way we live. Unfortunately too often I meet people who dislike or do not understand science so through science popularisation I give my humble contribution to changing that.
In the remaining time I consume enormous amounts of films and music, I read blogs and discuss.

Željka Sanader
My name is Željka Sanader and I’m a final year student of Physics from Split. I’m currently preparing my graduation thesis at the Interdisciplinary Centre for Advanced Science and Technology at University of Split; it’s about optical properties of small metal molecules. Hopefully from October I’ll be employed there.
I believe the proverb “a healthy mind in a healthy body” is true so I run (most often after buses), go to gym and I’ve recently discovered the wonders of mountaineering and I spend my weekends in the mountains, enjoying great company, green nature and the priceless view of Dalmatian island. I feed my spirit reading all genres from the classics to science fiction, constantly asking questions and meeting new challenges.

Marin Viđak
My name is Marin Viđak and I come from Split where I study medicine. I’m a first year student and I’ve always been fascinated by the human body and everything related to it which made me choose to study medicine.
I also appreciate science popularisation because I’m deeply convinced that the science is the most interesting thing in the world (which can be tedious to the people around me)
Little time I have left from studying I spend on reading, listening to music, spending it with friends and learning German.

Iva Pritišanac
I'm a third year Bachelor student of Molecular Biology, Faculty of Science in Zagreb. It is generally known how much I like biology, more precisely its molecular level, as well as how much trouble I have not to be always late. I'm fascinated by chemistry in all instances, especially the one present in the structures and interactions of macromolecules in cells. Since I was a child I wanted to be in the centre of overall attention. This fact has resulted with my early enrolment in theatre life where I've spent ten years as a member of ballet ensemble. During the summer I work on the coast as a tourist animator. I like long bicycle rides, swimming with flippers and snorkelling, instrumental piano music and scientific discussions (in my case monologues) with those who want, or are forced to listen to me.

Ivana Varga
My name is Ivana Varga and I come from Osijek where I went to school and university. I recently started working as a junior researcher at the Faculty of Agriculture in Osijek which gives me much joy because I’m surrounded by clever people from whom I can learn new things every day.
I like nature a lot, especially plants; I’m most interested in those we grow in Croatia. I’ve always been fascinated by the world of plants and its capability to adjust to different environments. I often cycle, sometime I sew and I dislike the smell of newspapers.
