The lemon essential oil

The lemon essential oil serves as an excellent air freshener, covers the smell of smoke, refreshes you and clears your concentration, has an antiseptic effect on respiratory tract and skin. Mildly diluted, the essential oil of lemon can be useful for oily skin and hair, especially if you have problems with acne and dandruff.

It can serve as a tonic and a stimulant; it prevents bloating, functions as a diuretic and an antivirus oil. It is an excellent help with respiratory tract infections, bronchitis, cold, flu, high blood pressure and circulation.

If you rub your hands well with a few drops and wash them off in cold water, your hands will preserve their youthful look with healthy white nails, at the same time cleaning and disinfecting your hands.

In WWI, lemon was used as an antiseptic and disinfectant in hospitals. Today we can use lemon essential oil to purify food and water on the road. 1 to 2 drops of lemon essential oil will purify a liter of water. Also, if you add several drops of it to the water in which you wash fruit and vegetables, you can increase its purity and keep the fruits fresher.
