Italy the first in the list of foreign investors in Montenegro

After the signed agreement on strategic partnership of the Republic of Italy and Montenegro and a contract on installing a high voltage energy cable from Peskara to Tivat, worth EUR 720m, Italy is now the first foreign investor in Montenegro.

This was stated after the meeting of prime ministers of the two countries, Milo Dukanovic and Silvio Berlusconi in Rome. The agreement on strategic cooperation, signed by the two prime ministers, and on the construction of an underwater energy cable, signed by ministers of economy Branko Vujovic and Claudio Scajola, are the crown of the cooperation of the two friendly countries.
