Prime Minister Hashim Thaci cannot change the ministers of the New Kosovo Alliance (AKR) the same way he did with those coming from the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK). When the time comes for reshuffling the cabinet, Thaci will need to consult with AKR president Behgjet Pacolli.
Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo from the New Kosovo Alliance, Mimoza Kusari-Lila, says that when it comes to changes in the government that regard ministers of AKR, consultations are necessary between Thachi and Pacolli. It is a process that can not pass without debate and internal elaboration and evaluation of work, as well as of the departments that need change the most, she added.
According to Kusari-Lila the changes in the cabinet could take place in February this year, when the Government will mark one year of its work. She also says that AKR expects to get another ministry as a result of the coalition agreement.
