Macedonia's Q3 Jobless Rate Edges Down to 31.2%

Macedonia's unemployment rate edged down to 31.2% in the third quarter of 2011 from 31.7% a year earlier, data of the Statistics Office indicated on Friday.

"In the third quarter, the labour force in Macedonia totalled 942,395 people, of which 648,617, or 68.8%, were employed, while 293,778, or 31.2%, were unemployed," the Statistics Office said in a statement posted on its website.
