A consortium of one Croatian and three Italian companies has signed a 70.5 million euro ($92.6 million) deal to design and build a terminal for containerised cargo at Croatia's Adriatic port of Rijeka, Croatia's maritime affairs, transport and infrastructure ministry said.
The contract, awarded following an international tender, was signed on Tuesday by the Rijeka Port Authority and the consortium comprising Italy's JV Construction, Grandi Lavori Fincosit and Impresa di Costruzioni Giuseppe Maltauro and Croatia’s Osijek-Koteks, the ministry said in a statement on its website.
