Macedonia To Upgrade 13 Bridges with 8.6 Mln Euro NATO Grant

Macedonia said on Wednesday it will upgrade 13 bridges along the pan-European Corridor X with a 8.6 million euro ($11.2 million) NATO grant. The memorandum of understanding for the implementation of the third stage of the bridge upgrade project was signed by Macedonian Transport Minister Mile Janakieski and NATO Chief of Staff at HQ KFOR, Brigadier General Rex Spitler, the Macedonian government said in a statement.
