EBRD Keeping Eye on Probes into Slovenia's Sostanj Power Plant Upgrade

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) said it is aware of several investigations undertaken into allegations of irregularities in connection to the modernisation of Slovenia's Sostanj thermal power plant and is monitoring the situation closely. The EBRD is providing a 200 million euro ($262 million) loan to co-finance Sostanj's modernisation programme.
