RTL Group Moves into EBITDA Breakeven Position in Croatia in 2011

Luxembourg-based RTL Group said its earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) from operations in Croatia moved into breakeven position last year from a negative EBITDA of 3.0 million euro ($3.9 million) in 2010.

In a TV advertising market that continued to decline – by an estimated 3.6% in 2011, RTL Hrvatska's revenues were nearly flat at 37 million euro last year versus 38 million euro in 2010, the parent company said in its annual report issued on Wednesday.
