Bulgaria’s BTC Q1 Cons Net Profit Falls 4.2% Y/Y

Bulgarian telecommunications group BTC [BUL:5BT] said on Friday its consolidated net profit fell by 4.2% on the year to 10.24 million levs ($6.85 million/5.2 million euro) in the first quarter of 2012.

BTC's sales revenue through March amounted to 218.7 million levs, up from 213.8 million levs a year earlier, the company said in a statement sent to the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
