The banking unit of Austria's Hypo Group Alpe-Adria in Bosnia's Serb Republic said on Tuesday it turned to a pre-tax profit of 26.1 million marka ($17.5 million/13.3 million euro) in 2011 from a pre-tax loss of 45.4 million marka a year earlier.
The bank’s interest income fell to 84.7 million marka in 2011 from 92.8 million marka a year earlier, while interest costs edged up to 40.3 million marka from 40.2 million marka, Hypo Alpe-Adria-Bank Banja Luka said in its audited financial report sent to the Banja Luka Stock Exchange.
