Montenegrin Govt Revises 2012 Budget, Proposes New Taxes

The Montenegrin government said on Thursday it has revised the country's budget for 2012 and is proposing the introduction of several new taxes in a bid to boost revenues.

Budget expenditures are revised down by 16 million euro ($21.2 million) and the budget deficit target is set at 86.7 million euro, equal to 2.5% of gross domestic product, thus staying within the Maastricht criteria, the government said in a statement.
