UNIQA 2011 Loss in Romania Widens

Austrian insurance group UNIQA said on Friday its loss from ordinary activities in Romania widened to 27.25 million euro ($36 million) in 2011 from 22.1 million euro a year earlier.

The group's premiums earned in Romania fell by 3.0% to 57 million euro last year, UNIQA's annual report indicated.
