Bulgaria's Kaolin Cons Net Profit Rises 68% in Q1

Bulgarian mineral extracting and processing company Kaolin [BUL:6K1] said on Friday its consolidated net profit rose to 1.99 million levs ($1.35 million/1.01 million euro) in the first quarter of 2012 from 1.18 million levs a year earlier.

The company’s consolidated revenue fell by 11.2% on the year to 33.2 million levs in the first quarter, Kaolin said in a statement filed with the Bulgarian Stock Exchange...
