Bulgarian American Credit Bank Turns to Cons Net Profit in Q1

Bulgarian American Credit Bank [BUL:5BN] said on Friday it turned to a consolidated net profit of 1.04 million levs ($703,000/532,000 levs) in the first quarter of 2012 from a net loss of 7.4 million levs a year earlier.

The bank’s comprehensive net loss shrank to 1.16 million levs in the three months through March compared to 7.17 million levs in the same period last year, BACB said in a statement to the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
