Albania March Trade Gap Widens 5.1% Y/Y

Albania’s trade deficit widened by an annual 5.1% to 27.3 billion leks ($257.4 million/194.5 million euro) in March, as exports fell and imports rose, the country’s statistics office said on Friday.

Albania’s exports fell by 1.4% on the year to 16.7 billion leks in March, while imports climbed 2.5% to some 44.1 billion leks, the statistics office, INSTAT, said in a statement.
