Macedonian Construction Co Granit Q1 Net Profit Dips 1.0% Y/Y

Macedonian blue-chip construction company Granit [MSE:GRNT] said its net profit edged down by 1.0% on the year to 8.11 million denars ($173,060/131,523 euro) in the first quarter of 2012.

Operating income fell by 44% on the year to 524.2 million denars through March, while operating costs decreased 37% to 584.5 million denars, Granit said in a filing with the Macedonian Stock Exchange on Friday.
