Montenegrin coal mine Rudnik Uglja Plevlja said on Monday its net profit rose to 2.98 million euro ($3.91 million) in the first quarter from 2.39 million euro a year earlier.
Rudnik Uglja’s operating income rose to 14.5 million euro in the first quarter from 13 million euro a year earlier, while operating costs edged up to 10.5 million euro from 10.2 million euro, its financial report filed with the Montenegro Stock Exchange showed.
