Croatia 2011 Electricity Output Down 25%, Wind Capacity Up to 133 MW

Croatia's transmission system operator HEP-OPS said on Tuesday domestic electricity output delivered to the country's transmission and distribution network fell 25% to a preliminary 9,999 gigawatt-hours (GWh) in 2011.

The installed production capacity at wind farms in Croatia rose to 133 megawatts (MW) last year from 82 MW in 2010, HEP-OPS said in a statement, quoting preliminary data.
