OTP Banka Srbija Cuts After-tax Loss by 69% Y/Y in Q1

Hungarian banking group OTP said its Serbian unit cut its after-tax loss without dividends, net cash transfers and one-offs by an annual 69% to 456 million Hungarian forints ($1.97 million/1.5 million euro) in the first quarter of 2012.

The declining loss was due to lower risk costs in the three months to March, OTP said in its first-quarter financial report issued on Tuesday...
