Dutch-based FrieslandCampina Drops Acquisition Talks for Two Serbian Dairy Cos

Dutch-based Royal FrieslandCampina said on Tuesday it has ended talks on the planned acquisition of two Serbian-based dairy companies controlled by Danube Foods Group.

In February, Royal FrieslandCampina and Danube Foods Group, owned by UK's Salford Capital Partners, announced that they had signed a Memorandum of Understanding regarding Royal FrieslandCampina’s intended acquisition of Imlek and Mlekara Subotica.
