Romanian Savings Bank CEC 2011 Net Profit Rises 26.6%

Romanian state-owned savings bank CEC said on Tuesday its 2011 net profit grew by 26.6% on the year to 67.4 million lei ($19.3 million/15.13 million euro). Total assets rose by 14.3% to 24.8 billion lei at end-December, boosting CEC's market share to 6.99% from 6.35% a year earlier, the bank said in a statement.
