Albania’s April Trade Gap Narrows 19.2% M/M, Down 30.1% Y/Y

Albania’s trade deficit fell by an annual 30.1% to 22.1 billion leks ($199.1 million/158.5 million euro) in April, as exports grew and imports fell, the country’s statistics institute said on Friday.

Albania’s exports grew by 27.1% on the year to 18 billion leks in April, while imports fell by 12.4% to some 40.1 billion leks, the statistics institute, INSTAT, said in a statement.
