Romanian Stock Indices End Mostly Up, Turnover Jumps

All but one of the Romanian stock indices closed higher on Tuesday as turnover increased, stock exchange data showed. The blue-chip BET index of the Bucharest bourse ended 0.63% higher at 4,667.96 points. The BET-FI, which tracks Romania’s five regional investment funds, the SIFs, and property restitution fund Proprietatea, edged up 0.59% to 20,114.39 points.
