NLB Montenegrobanka Turns to Net Loss in Q1

Montenegro’s NLB Montenegrobanka turned to a net loss of 830,000 euro ($1.04 million) in the first quarter of 2012 from a net profit of 9,000 euro a year earlier, data from the Central Bank of Montenegro (CBM) showed.
Net interest income fell to 5.5 million euro in the first quarter of 2012 from 5.6 million a year earlier, while net fee and provision income edged down to 1.36 million euro from 1.43 million euro, data from the CBM website indicated.
