Ascent Resources Takes out BNP Paribas Loan To Fund Slovenian Project

UK-based oil and gas exploration and production company Ascent Resources said on Tuesday it has signed a loan agreement totalling up to 15 million euro ($18.8 million) with BNP Paribas to fund its Petisovci gas project in Slovenia.

The agreement provides Ascent with the ability to draw down up to 10 million euro immediately to fund the Petisovci field to production, the company said in a press release.
