Montenegro's Hypo Alpe-Adria Bank slashed its net loss to 1.8 million euro ($2.2 million) in the first quarter of 2012 from 11.7 million euro a year earlier, data of the Central Bank of Montenegro (CBM) showed.
The bank’s net interest income amounted to 1.8 million euro over the review period, down from 3.7 million euro a year earlier, while net fee and commission income rose to 511,000 euro from 502,000, data from the CBM website indicated.
