Serbia’s trade gap widened by 7.8% on the year to $2.78 billion (2.39 billion euro) in the first four months of 2012, the country’s statistics office said on Thursday. Exports declined by 8.6% on the year to $3.40 billion through April, while imports fell 1.9% to $6.18 billion, the statistics office said in a statement on its website.
