Telekom Slovenije’s Macedonian Units Negative EBIT Narrows in Q1

Telekom Slovenije [LJE:TLSG] said on Thursday its Macedonian units narrowed their combined negative earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) to 2.3 million euro ($2.8 million) in the first quarter of 2012 from 5.7 million euro a year earlier.

The earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) of Telekom Slovenije’s Macedonian units rose 69% on the year to 1.55 million euro in the first quarter, the parent company said in its financial report filed with the Ljubljana Stock Exchange.
