EFSE Lends 4.0 Mln Euro to Bosnia's MCF EKI To Back Micro Entrepreneurs

The European Fund for Southeast Europe (EFSE) said it is providing a 4.0 million euro ($4.9 million) loan to Tuzla-based rural areas-focused microfinance lender Microcredit Foundation EKI (MCF EKI).

The loan is issued to enable EKI to expand its outreach to micro entrepreneurs in the rural areas of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where agriculture is an important business sector, the EFSE said in a statement last week...
