Macedonia’s Fakom Q1 Net Profit Drops 81% Y/Y

Macedonian steel structures producer Fakom said its net profit plunged to 2.6 million denars ($52,720/42,170 euro) in the first quarter of 2012 from 13.5 million denars a year earlier.

Operating income fell by 27.3% on the year to 217.4 million denars in the first quarter, while operating costs dropped to 215.3 million denars from 285.9 million denars a year ago, Fakom said in its income statement sent to the Macedonian Securities and Exchange Commission.
