Macedonian Wine Maker Skovin Q1 Net Loss Widens

Macedonian wine maker Skovin said its net loss widened to 35.8 million denars ($725,890/580,710 euro) in the first quarter of 2012 from 8.9 million denars a year earlier.

Operating income rose to 162.7 million denars in the first quarter from 73.5 million denars a year ago, while operating costs increased to 196.1 million denars from 81.4 million denars, Skovin said in its income statement sent to the Macedonian Securities and Exchange Commission.
