Romania 5-mo New Passenger Car Sales Fall 11.9%

Sales of new passenger cars in Romania fell by 11.9% on the year to 28,979 vehicles in the first five months of 2012, the Romanian Car Producers and Importers Association, APIA, said on Friday. Sales of commercial vehicles dropped by 13.2% to 5,158 in the January-May period, APIA said in a statement.
