The Bulgarian unit of Italian-based PVB Power said it commissioned on Friday a small hydro power plant (SHPP) on the Iskar river, near Sofia, and plans to launch another two by the end of 2012.

The investment costs for SHPP Tserovo, located in the Svoge municipality, added up to around 10-11 million euro ($12.6-13.9 million), Viktor Sokachev, head of corporate communications at PVB Power Bulgaria, told SeeNews The Corporate Wire over the phone...
