Bulgaria Awards 35-yr Concession for Building Materials Extraction to Local Unit of Greece's Titan

Bulgaria awarded local Zlatna Panega Cement, a unit of Greek building materials manufacturer Titan Group, a 35-year concession for extracting building materials from a quarry in the northern part of the country, the government said on Wednesday.

Proceeds from the concession are expected to exceed 5.25 million levs ($3.35 million/2.68 million euro), as half will go towards the Yablanitsa municipality budget, the government said in a statement issued after a regular weekly meeting.
