Bosnia’s Elektroprivreda RS Posts 2011 Profit of 3.3 Mln Euro

Bosnian power utility Elektroprivreda Republike Srpske posted a profit of 6.4 million marka ($4.1 million/3.3 million euro) in 2011, the government of Bosnia's Serb Republic said.

The Serb Republic, where Elektroprivreda RS operates, is one of the two autonomous entities making up Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Muslim-Croat Federation. Elektroprivreda HZ HB, the smallest of Bosnia's three state-owned power utilities, and the country's largest power utility, Elektroprivreda BiH, are based in the Federation.
