Macedonia's 5-mo trade gap narrows 4.5%

Macedonia’s trade deficit narrowed to $1.07 billion (852 million euro) in the first five months of 2012 from $1.12 billion a year earlier, data of the country's statistics office indicated on Thursday.
Macedonia’s exports dropped 11.1% year-on-year to $1.59 billion through May, while imports decreased by 7.3% to some $2.66 billion, the statistics office said in a statement.
