Croatian company Osilovac has secured a prelim regulatory nod for a 999 kilowatt biogas-fired power plant, data from the website of the country's energy regulator indicated.
The planned annual electric energy output of the power plant, which will run on biogas derived from agricultural crops and organic waste from the farming and food industry, is 8.291 gigawatt-hours, the Croatian Energy Regulatory Agency said in a preliminary decision on granting the project promoter the status of eligible power producer.
