Four foreign companies have filed bids in a tender for the construction of the 10.2 kilometer Vlakovo-Lepenica road section in Bosnia's Muslim-Croat Federation, the entity's motorway company, Autoceste FBiH, said.
Bids have been submitted by Italian joint venture Impresa Pizzarotti & Salini, which has offered a construction cost of 154.6 million euro ($190 million), Austria’s Strabag with a 213.4 million euro bid and a 10% discount, Turkey's Cengiz Insaat, offering to build the road section for 172.6 million euro, and Croatia's Viadukt with a 190.2 million euro bid and a 3.0% discount, Autoceste FBiH said in a statement on Tuesday.
