Slovenia’s Triglav gets 4.0 mln euro in storm-related damages claims

Slovenian insurer Zavarovalnica Triglav said it has received a large number of claims for damages, most notably to vehicles, following a powerful storm in the country's northwest and parts of the central regions that was accompanied by heavy downpours, wind and hail.

The company said in a statement last week it estimates that the storm caused approximately 2.5 million euro ($3.1 million) in damages to vehicles and 1.5 million euro in damages to buildings.
