Montenegrin rail carrier ZPCG turns to H1 net profit

Montenegrin state-controlled rail transport operator Zeljeznicki Prevoz Crne Gore (ZPCG) said on Friday it turned to a net profit of 520,500 euro ($640,000) in the first half of 2012 from a net loss of 796,280 euro a year earlier.
Operating income rose to 3.91 million euro through June from 2.65 million euro a year earlier, while operating costs edged up to 3.28 million euro from 3.25 million euro, ZPCG said in a financial report filed with the Montenegro Stock Exchange.
