Bosnia's Serb Republic railways operator pares H1 net loss by 59%

Zeljeznice Republike Srpske [BANJ:ZERS-R-A], the railway operator of Bosnia's Serb Republic, narrowed its net loss to 5.9 million marka ($3.7 million/3.0 million euro) through June from 14.4 million marka a year earlier, it said on Monday.

The company's total income decreased to 37.2 million marka in the first half from 38.6 million a year earlier, while total costs fell to 43.2 million marka from 53.1 million, Zeljeznice RS said in its financial statement filed with the Banja Luka Stock Exchange.
