Romania plans to cut stakes in three units of power co Electrica to 39%

The Romanian government plans to cut its stakes in three units of state-owned power supplier and distributor Electrica to 39% from 78%, according to a draft government decision.

The government had intially decided to list 15% stakes in each of the units - Electrica Distributie Transilvania Sud, Electrica Distributie Transilvania Nord and Electrica Distributie Muntenia Nord. Romanian property restitution fund Proprietatea owns 22% of each unit.
