Macedonia’s Vip Operator set to beef up allotted spectrum - regulator

Macedonia's telecoms regulator said that local wireless carrier Vip Operator has placed the best offer for the right to use radio frequencies in the 1720-1730 MHz and 1815-1825 MHz bands to provide nationwide public mobile communication services.

Vip Operator offered 5.1 million euro ($6.3 million) for the respective licence and should pay the amount within ten days of the date of the relevant notification, the Agency for Electronic Communications said on Tuesday.
