Pfizer settles with DOJ, SEC over improper conduct in several SEE countries

Pfizer Inc. said it has resolved U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) matters related to certain improper payments in the operations of an indirect subsidiary, Pfizer H.C.P. Corporation, in Bulgaria, Croatia, Kazakhstan and Russia.

Pfizer Inc. said in a press release on Tuesday it has also reached a civil settlement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) over improper conduct in Bulgaria, Croatia, Kazakhstan, Russia, Italy, China, the Czech Republic and Serbia.
