Bosnia's Toplana turns to H1 profit

Bosnian heating utility Toplana said on Wednesday it turned to a net profit of 6.047 million marka ($3.8 million/3.1 million euro) in the first half of 2012 from a net loss of 6.951 million marka a year earlier.

Toplana’s operating income more than doubled to 30.6 million marka in the first half from 13.6 million marka a year ago, while operating costs increased to 24.5 million marka from 20.5 million marka, it said in its financial statement filed with the Banja Luka Stock Exchange.
