Bosnian oil refinery Brod H1 net loss halves

Bosnia’s sole oil refinery Rafinerija Nafte Brod said on Wednesday its net loss halved to 9.0 million marka ($5.7 million/4.6 million euro) in the first half of 2012 from 18.4 million marka a year earlier.

Total income rose to some 48 million marka in the first half from 36.1 million marka a year earlier, while total costs increased to 56.8 million marka from 54.5 million marka, the company said in an income statement filed with the Banja Luka Stock Exchange.
