Makedonijaturist H1 net profit doubles

Macedonian hotel and catering company Makedonijaturist [MSE:MTUR] said on Friday its net profit doubled to 114.4 million denars ($2.3 million/1.9 million euro) in the first half of 2012 from 68.6 million denars a year ago.

Operating income rose 10.0% to 234.9 million denars in the first half of the year, while operating costs decreased by an annual 8.0% to 141.4 million denars, Makedonijaturist said in a filing with the Macedonian Stock Exchange.
