Romania's Apa Canal calls tenders for water/wastewater system upgrades

Romanian water utility company Apa Canal has called two tenders for upgrades on water and wastewater systems in the southwestern Galati county worth a combined 217.8 million lei ($59.7 million/48.4 million euro), contract notices in the EU's procurement journal indicated on Monday.

The first contract, worth 135 million lei, excluding Value Added Tax (VAT), involves upgrade and extension of water and wastewater systems in the Liesti area, one of the notices in the Tenders Electronic Daily (TED) indicated.
